Band Rings Page

Besides the custom bands that I make I also offer you the classic standards, in the best iteration of the most popular styles. I feature comfort-fit bands as the most perfect choice for a classic wedding band, and I can also put the finish on the band that you want, like a satin finish, matte finish, florentine finish and more. The bands I like are the die struck bands, they are seamless and the finish is just as perfect as it gets, where the surface is both work hardened in the process, and takes a fantastic polish for perfect uniformity.

Another very popular style is the half round band, which is straight across on the inside where as the comfort-fit is rounded inside, and the inside edge is rolled over so there is not an abrupt edge. The half rounds that I sell are also die struck and are perfect for either using as parts for a custom job or just as they are. The half round is also the style that has a lower not as extreme dome as do the comfort-fit bands, and there by this style is perfect for hand engraving, where the comfort-fit bands are such a tall and rounded dome as to make hand engraving nearly impossible.

The pipe band or flat band is a long classic standard, and I offer die struck bands of this flavor in both the standard thickness (which is about 1.2mm) and a thick plush version that is over 2mm in thickness, and this thicker band can be ordered in a wide variety of widths and finger sizes too. The thicker ones are perfect for setting stones into them, and the standards are perfect for getting that look without the extra cost and weight.

Platinum wedding bands VS Gold wedding bands? Consider these facts. Platinum is about 1.7 times the weight of gold, so for areas where strength are required like delicate thin ladies ring platinum is a perfect choice. It has a nice weighty feel compared to a gold band, and many find the extra weight and absolute white color perfect for them. Remember that gold is an orange/yellow metal, and while it is possible to produce a very nice white gold it is by comparison not nearly as white as platinum. Most manufacturers who make products in white gold actually rhodium plate them to enhance the white color and appearantce. I deal in no plated items like this, for platinum is measured in microns and will soon wear from the surface, which can produce a color shift.
